Charter
Charter is the subscription management section of the Admin Console.
Purpose
- View current subscription tier and status
- Upgrade or change plan
- Access Stripe Customer Portal for billing and payment methods
Tiers
| Tier | Typical use |

| Initiate | Testing rules and small guilds — 1 guild, 1 sigil, Bitcoin only |
| Signatory | Daily communities — 1 guild, 10 sigils, multiple chains |
| Authority | Protocol-grade — 5 guilds, unlimited sigils, all chains |
| Custom | Custom jurisdiction — unlimited guilds, contact [email protected] |

Stripe Customer Portal
From Charter you can open the Stripe Customer Portal, which allows you to:
- Update payment method
- View invoices
- Change plan
- Cancel subscription
Activation
If you have no active subscription, you are redirected to /subscription-required, where you can activate the Initiate tier (often free or low-cost) to unlock the console.
