What is SIGILAR
SIGILAR is an infrastructure for managing access, information, and permissions for modern online communities.
Core purpose
The system verifies onchain state (inscriptions, runes, token ownership, NFTs) and enforces or reports offchain effects through roles, events, and actions on Discord.
SIGILAR is a layer of rule enforcement and observation.
Problem
Modern communities:
- Grow globally
- Are distributed
- Rely on declarative trust
Manual roles, allowlists, and moderation do not scale.
Solution
SIGILAR introduces a deterministic community system:
- Onchain ownership → truth
- Sigil → rule
- Act → decision
- Tool → execution or report
Source of truth
Blockchain is the sole source of truth.
SIGILAR:
- Does not hold assets
- Does not initiate transactions
- Operates in read-only mode
- Does not arbitrate outcomes
Flow
Blockchain (read-only) → Sigil (rule) → Act (decision) → Tool (execution) → Discord
