FAQ

Frequently asked questions about SIGILAR.

General

What is SIGILAR?

SIGILAR is an infrastructure for managing access, information, and permissions for online communities. It verifies onchain state (NFTs, tokens, inscriptions, runes) and enforces or reports offchain effects (roles, alerts) on Discord.

Do I need a subscription to use the Community Portal?

No. The Community Portal (sigilar.io) does not require a subscription. You only need to log in with Discord and link your wallet.

Do I need a subscription to use the Admin Console?

Yes. The Admin Console (console.sigilar.io) requires an active subscription. You can activate the Initiate tier from /subscription-required after logging in.

Wallets and verification

Which wallets are supported?

Bitcoin: Unisat, Xverse. Multi-chain: Phantom, Magic Eden. Support may vary by deployment.

Yes. You can link multiple wallets to one Discord account. Guild roles are evaluated across all your linked addresses.

Does SIGILAR store my private keys?

No. SIGILAR never stores private keys. You prove address ownership by signing a message; only addresses and verification status are stored.

How often are roles updated?

Role assignment and revocation typically run on a schedule (e.g. hourly). Changes to your wallet may take up to that interval to be reflected in Discord.

Admin and configuration

How do I connect my Discord server?

From the Admin Console, use the guild setup flow to select and connect your Discord server. The SIGILAR bot must be invited with appropriate permissions (e.g. Manage Roles).

Why can't the bot assign a role?

The bot’s highest role must be above the role you want it to assign in Discord’s role hierarchy. Move the bot’s role higher in Server Settings → Roles.

What verification types are supported?

Ordinals, Spark BTKN, Runes, Solana NFT, Solana Token, Ethereum NFT, Ethereum Token. Check Access Rules for the full list.

Sigilar Daily Mint and Giveaway

What is Sigilar Daily Mint?

Sigilar Daily Mint is a calendar of upcoming web3 mints. It helps you track and share mint schedules with your Discord community.

How do I run a giveaway?
