Act

Act is a formal guild decision. It specifies what happens when a sigil (or set of sigils) is satisfied.

Definition

An act:

• Uses one or more sigils
• Defines the outcome (effect)
• Is sealed (authorised) by an administrator

Act types

Enforcement Acts

• Change access state
• Result in roles or eligibility to participate

Examples:

• Act of Access — role assignment based on onchain ownership

Observation Acts

• Observe onchain events
• Publish information or alerts
• Do not change roles

Examples:

• Act of Listing — new asset listings on marketplaces (tool not yet launched)
• Act of Selling — sales activity feed (tool not yet launched)

Not every Act enforces permissions. Some Acts observe and report onchain events.
